Hold’em Poker for Advanced Players
Hold’em Poker for Advanced Players, by David Sklansky
Another great book by David Sklansky that discusses several Texas Hold’em poker startegies and ideas for the advanced poker players.
The book includes extensive sections on loose games and short-handed games. It also includes ideas to play on the first 2 cards drawn, such as: semi-bluffing, the free card, inducing bluffs, staying with a draw, playing when a pair flops, playing trash hands, desperation bets, playing in wild games, reading hands, psychology and more.
A very interesting book to read .. Get the Hold’em Poker for Advanced Players book here…

This is one of the best books ever written on poker, first published in December 1994. David Sklansky discusses several theories and concepts that apply to most poker game variations.
It explores the Fundamental Theorem of Poker and its implications. It also explores the value of deception, bluffing, raising, the slow-play, the value of position, psychology, heads-up play, game theory, implied odds, the free card and semibluffing and how they affect the poker game.

Highest Poker Hand
What is the highest ranking hand in a poker game?
The Royal Flush, an ace-high straight flush (such as: A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit, any suit), is the highest ranking poker hand.
All the suits have the same rank, but in case of an even hand then the highest suit is most often the Spades, followed by the Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds.
