Russian Poker is a variant of casino poker, where the player is dealt 5 cards, and the dealer also gets 5 cards, with hte last card placed up.

The player has a right to buy a sixth card or exchange any number of his cards, after placing bets in each exchange.

If the dealer loses or doesn’t qualify, the player gets the winnings.

Online poker may become legal soon in the USA as a recent ruling by The United States Department of Justice (DoJ) appears to clear the way for online lotteries and poker, by reinterpreting the Wire Act of 1961.

President Barack Obama’s administration has declared two days before Christmas, perhaps unintentionally, that almost every form of intra-state Internet gambling is legal under federal law, and so may be games played interstate and even internationally.

What is the highest ranking hand in a poker game?

The Royal Flush, an ace-high straight flush (such as: A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit, any suit), is the highest ranking poker hand.

All the suits have the same rank, but in case of an even hand then the highest suit is most often the Spades, followed by the Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds.
