Hold’em Poker for Advanced Players
Hold’em Poker for Advanced Players, by David Sklansky
Another great book by David Sklansky that discusses several Texas Hold’em poker startegies and ideas for the advanced poker players.
The book includes extensive sections on loose games and short-handed games. It also includes ideas to play on the first 2 cards drawn, such as: semi-bluffing, the free card, inducing bluffs, staying with a draw, playing when a pair flops, playing trash hands, desperation bets, playing in wild games, reading hands, psychology and more.
A very interesting book to read .. Get the Hold’em Poker for Advanced Players book here…
Texas Hold ‘em Poker
Texas Hold ‘em Poker (or Holdem Poker) is a variation of the community card family of poker.
The dealer deals 2 cards face down to each player, then places 5 community cards face-up in the center. At first, the dealer opens 3 community cards (the flop), then 1 single card (the turn or fourth street), followed by another single card (the river or fifth street).
Players have the option to check, bet, raise or fold after each deal: before the flop, on the flop, on the turn, and on the river.
